CTG is seeking to fill an SAP ADM Project Manager position for our client.
Location: Bentonville, ARDuration: 4 months
Duties:
- Lead Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) projects for SAP systems from project initiation through successful delivery.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams consisting of SAP developers, quality assurance personnel, business analysts, and key stakeholders.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish project objectives.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion within budget.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies while driving resolution strategies.
- Oversee quality assurance, testing, and validation activities to ensure SAP solutions meet business and technical requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and third-party resources supporting SAP initiatives.
- Provide regular project status updates, risk assessments, and executive communications to stakeholders.
- Ensure SAP solutions align with organizational business goals, operational needs, and long-term technology strategies.
- Promote project governance, process improvements, and adherence to established project management methodologies.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SAP Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) processes and SAP technologies.
- Expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and team coordination skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities across technical and business audiences.
- Experience with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Ability to identify and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, and quality assurance practices.
- Experience managing external vendors and consulting partners.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
Experience:
- 7+ years of project management experience, including leading SAP Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) initiatives.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering SAP projects on time and within budget.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in enterprise SAP environments.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
- Experience with SAP implementation, enhancement, support, and maintenance projects is highly preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications are a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
