Product Analyst - Water Portfolio Position Title: Product Analyst – Water Products
Location: Markham, ON
Department: Product Management – Home Services
Compensation: $59,564 - $95,302
Please note that the compensation range listed includes base salary and potential incentive pay. Incentives such as bonuses are not guaranteed and depend on individual performance and company results. Actual compensation within the range will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Product Analyst to support the performance, insights, and evolution of our Water Portfolio, which includes rental water heaters, water purification solutions, and related offerings. This role will play a critical part in enabling data-driven decision making, optimizing product performance, and supporting strategic initiatives across the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working with large datasets, and passionate about uncovering insights that drive business outcomes. Experience in durable goods, home services, or recurring revenue models is a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics & Insights
- Analyze product performance across key metrics such as customer acquisition, retention, pricing, and profitability • Leverage dashboards and reports to monitor trends and identify opportunities for improvement
- Conduct customer and market analysis to support roadmap development and strategic planning
Product Lifecycle Support
- Assist in managing product continuity, including unit additions and attrition analysis
- Support new product introductions with data-driven forecasts and performance tracking
- Collaborate with product managers to evaluate pricing strategies and promotional effectiveness
Financial & Business Support
- Contribute to business case development for new initiatives and product enhancements
- Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to support forecasting, cost analysis, and margin optimization
- Help track and report on category-level P&L performance
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Field Operations to support go-to market execution and service readiness
- Participate in cross-category projects to ensure alignment and synergy across the broader product team
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in product analysis, business analytics, or a related role
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Solid understanding of financial concepts and experience supporting P&L or business case development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
