Job Description:
GDIT is seeking a Data Analyst Associate to support its Technology Shared Services (TSS) Data and Analytics team in developing customer dashboards, deep dive analytics, and delivering customer solutions. As a Data Analyst Associate, you will support customers within GDIT to fulfill and improve business processes.
You will have the opportunity to integrate relationships between business units and central corporate functions to ensure success in meeting business and corporate goals and objectives. HOW A DATA ANALYST ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Collects information by engaging in dialogue with staff, reviewing databases, and interpreting reports
- Produces reporting on an as-needed basis (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Communicates complex data through comprehensive methods
- Determines business metrics to meet ongoing organizational or client informational needs
- Conducts market research and defines industry best practices for decision-making
- Creates, refines, and delivers reports and dashboards for internal or external purposes
- Utilizes Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and/or other business intelligence tools
- Provides data analytics and key insights
- Highlights and defines Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance across different sections
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
- BA/BS (or equivalent years of experience)
Required Experience:
- 0+ years of relevant experience
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Microsoft Excel background; familiarity with other Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, et al.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platforms, SQL, and/or Databricks
- Exposure to Microsoft Power BI dashboard design
- Capability to create, maintain, interpret, and troubleshoot data-heavy reporting
- Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities at any given time and adapt to changing client needs
- Good communication skills with the ability to present to business leaders, understand business needs, and make recommendations
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Capability to take initiative to develop, run, and present reports
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret or higher clearance

The likely salary range for this position is $55,250 - $74,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
