About the Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into understandable and conclusive insights. You will play a key role in training different business areas on the effective use of our Business Intelligence (BI) tools and advising them on how to maximize the value derived from our data. Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, analyse, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Create clear, concise, and impactful visualisations, reports, and dashboards that effectively communicate findings to various stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to educate different business units on the functionality and best practices of BI tools.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to the business area on how to leverage data to answer key business questions and drive informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and other teams to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and consistency.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and data optimisation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data analysis, BI tools, and data visualisation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL.
  • Extensive experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense).
  • Excellent data visualization skills and the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a Business related discipline.
