About the role
This is a high-priority opportunity to lead technology delivery for QuiteLike, Coles’ meal-subscription service operating across Australia. Working in a fast-paced, start-up-style environment, you will combine hands-on solutioning with end-to-end delivery leadership, translating business priorities into scalable technology outcomes that support growth and operational stability. With no direct reports, the role relies on your ability to influence cross-functional teams whilst managing vendors and partners. It would suit an experienced Delivery Manager or technically minded Product Manager with a strong background in eCommerce, agile delivery and complex technology programs.
Primary Objective
- Lead the Technology delivery capability for Online Meals subscriptions (meal kits and ready-to-heat), ensuring successful execution of technology initiatives that enable business growth and operational stability
- Accountable for planning, prioritising, and delivering projects and programs, managing risks, and ensuring smooth transition to BAU support
- Drive consistency in delivery execution, foster agile ways of working, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives
- Also accountable for applications and services, managing incident resolution, service desk, and internal assets
Experience
- 5+ years delivering large-scale technology programs in retail or eCommerce environments
- Experience leading agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) and managing delivery across internal and external teams
- Proven ability to manage program scheduling, budgets, risk, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience with MVP development, PoCs, and technology roadmaps
- Familiarity with DevOps, continuous delivery, and release management
Key Responsibilities

- Engage with business stakeholders to prioritise initiatives
- Run feasibility assessments and technical spikes to validate proposed solutions
- Translate business strategies into technology deliverables
- Ensure successful delivery and transition to BAU
Program Delivery
- Plan and oversee multiple initiatives concurrently
- Manage risk profiles and interdependencies
- Ensure inclusive design and accessibility
Stakeholder / Vendor & Partner Management
- Maintain regular cadence of governance meetings
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly
- Lead engagement with software vendors and integrators
- Drive procurement decisions and manage SLAs
