CMG Financial is hiring a self-motivated individual who can work with both customers and teammates and consistently deliver excellence. We are currently looking for an experienced mortgage business software analyst to help our growing IT Team maintain and enhance our business software on the Salesforce platform. The BA will participate in stand-up meetings with both Technology and Business Partners to facilitate the understanding, clarification, and implementation of requirements of various past, ongoing, and future projects that are assigned.

 

Salesforce (Financial Services Cloud) experience is required, along with hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Agentforce experience. A strong candidate with recent experience in mortgage technology is preferred — but must have strong, direct Salesforce experience.

 

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, include the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

 

 

  • Create and maintain the strategic partnership between Business needs and Technology delivery.
  • Responsible for developing business requirements and related business rules based on Business Group needs.
  • Work closely with the Business Partner and Business Subject Matter Expert(s) in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of functional requirements.
  • Identify requirements via industry standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling, workflow analysis, and functional decomposition analysis. The Analyst will solicit requirements through interviews, surveys, workshops, trainings, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures.
  • Evaluate assigned work items for SDLC readiness and prepare them for developer handoff, including clear, testable acceptance criteria.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud administration experience (campaign setup, journeys, data extensions, and audience management).
  • Salesforce Agentforce experience — configuring, deploying, and supporting AI agents and agentic workflows on the Salesforce platform.
  • Salesforce CRM experience — administering and configuring core Salesforce (Sales/Service Cloud), including objects, flows, permission sets, page layouts, and reports/dashboards supporting Sales, Operations, and Management.
  • Responsible for training users as well as passing key business product knowledge and understanding to IT Management, Support, and Development teams.
  • The BA will report to the Product Owner, Salesforce Platform.
  • In general, the role will include the creation/revision of the following analysis documents and deliverables:
  • Project Plans, Process Maps, Business Requirements, Business Rules, User Stories, User Flows, Acceptance Tests, Training Materials

 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong mortgage software support background (4+ Years). LOS, Pricing Engines, Doc Vendors.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder) and hands-on Financial Services Cloud (FSC) configuration experience.
  • Solid understanding of the latest mortgage compliance measures (LE, CD, LO Comp, TRID, ATR/QM, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of mortgage business reporting and workflow for Sales, Operations, and Management.
  • Strong background working as part of a cohesive IT Team.
  • Strong technical skills coupled with business intelligence and a deep understanding of mortgage customers’ needs so that they can be transformed into application and operational requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management.
  • Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks.
  • Strong facilitation skills. Must be able to elicit requirements from various personalities across organizational and geographical boundaries.
  • Proven experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholders.
  • Willing and able to travel to company facilities to meet with business groups as needed.

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.

 

 

COMPENSATION INFORMATION– This role is a remote position that is currently allocated for candidates within geographic regions that do not currently require base wage disclosure. The compensation range for this position will be provided upon request. (Due to their geographic location, residents of the states of CA & CO, and for NY are excluded from this role at this time.)
