- Review and analyse requirements specifications to ensure thorough understanding.
- Execute manual test cases and analyse results to verify software functionality.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams promptly and accurately.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues, providing insights for resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform API testing to validate integration points and functionality.
- Write SQL queries for data validation and testing purposes.
- Perform thorough regression testing after the validation cycle.
- Test batch processes, including batch uploads and file drops.
- Engage in automation testing, utilising various tools and frameworks.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
Requirements
- 2 - 5 years of experience in Manual Testing, Automation Testing, API Testing and SQL
- Experience in writing test cases, bug tracking, functional testing, and regression testing.
- Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, with a focus on reliability and performance.
- Proficient in Black Box Testing, Test Execution, Defect Tracking, and Test Estimation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to debugging and troubleshooting.
- Experience with automated testing tools (like Selenium, Playwright) and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Familiar with version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Familiar with test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr
- Experience in API testing and Database testing using SQL queries
- Familiarity with various testing methodologies, including Ad-hoc, Black Box, White Box, Incremental Integration, Functional, Performance, Loading, Security, Compatibility, and Acceptance testing.
