Civil Engineering Coordination Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Coordination Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering activities and ensure all technical deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule. The role requires strong coordination, planning, follow-up, and document-control skills across civil, structural, architectural, MEP, BIM, procurement, and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the multidisciplinary engineering team.
  • Assign priorities, monitor workloads, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Manage drawings, calculations, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, specifications, and technical submissions.
  • Maintain engineering schedules, trackers, document registers, and revision controls.
  • Coordinate internal reviews and ensure timely submission, comment resolution, and resubmission.
  • Align engineering deliverables with construction and procurement schedules.
  • Identify technical issues, missing information, clashes, and potential delays.
  • Improve workflows, reporting, templates, and team productivity.
  • Monitor performance through KPIs and promote accountability, speed, and accuracy.
  • Escalate critical technical issues and delays to the Construction Director.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in construction, contracting, modular construction, fit-out, industrial, or MEP projects.
  • Experience leading or coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Strong knowledge of drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, material submittals, approvals, and document control.
  • Excellent planning, communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with BIM/Revit and project or document-management systems is preferred.
