Full description
About the Team: The Pandora SecOps team sits within Global Security and is responsible for protecting Pandora's business through world-class detection and response capabilities. Over the last few years, we've built a modern security platform that enables faster, smarter, and more automated responses to threats across our global operations.
As Pandora continues its transformation towards cloud-native, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, our focus is evolving beyond traditional infrastructure security.
We're expanding into application monitoring, cloud services, and operational technology (OT) environments across our manufacturing footprint. This creates exciting opportunities to build scalable security capabilities that support the entire business.
Working closely with product, engineering, and security teams across Digital & Technology, we're transforming SecOps from operating security tools to engineering a robust security data and detection platform.
About the Role: As a Lead Engineer, Platform Security Operations, you'll play a key role in shaping and evolving Pandora's detection and response platform. You'll own critical security technologies, data pipelines, and integrations that enable security monitoring across cloud platforms, applications, enterprise systems, and OT environments.
This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of security engineering, cloud technologies, automation, and data platforms. You'll help drive our engineering-first approach to SecOps, building scalable, reliable, and automated solutions that improve security outcomes across the business.
As a senior member of the team, you'll contribute to incident response activities, participate in our on-call rotation, and help drive technical direction across the platform.
What You'll Do:
- Own and continuously improve Pandora's SecOps platform, including SIEM, XDR, NDR, and related security technologies.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and telemetry onboarding for cloud, SaaS, PaaS, and internally developed applications
- Develop integrations and automation across the security ecosystem, including SOAR, IAM, ITSM, and detection platforms.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to embed security monitoring into new services and applications.
- Support detection engineers and analysts by building reliable, high-quality platform capabilities.
- Improve platform reliability, performance, observability, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to incident response and participate in the team's on-call rotation.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, SecOps Engineering, or Security Platform Engineering.
- Hands-on experience working within a SOC, incident response, or detection and response environment.
- Strong experience with SIEM platforms, log management, and security data engineering.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep/ARM, or similar) and DevOps practices.
- Strong Python skills for automation, integrations, and tooling development.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and platform-as-code principles.
- Good understanding of Azure, Entra ID, and Active Directory.
- Experience integrating security platforms and enterprise technologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering and security teams.
Why Join Pandora? Join a team that is redefining how security operations works at scale. You'll have the opportunity to build modern security platforms, influence technical direction, work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, and help secure a global organisation undergoing significant digital transformation.
