Java Backend Developer (M/F)

This is your mission

Are you passionate about distributed systems, high-performance computing and software engineering? Then this position is for you.

As a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and evolving business-critical distributed applications within a large-scale Agile environment. You will contribute to innovative solutions focused on scalability, performance, reliability and risk calculation platforms.

Build side

• Design and develop robust, scalable and secure backend applications.

• Participate in technical studies and solution design phases.

• Transform business, regulatory and technical requirements into efficient software solutions.

• Develop high-quality Java code following engineering best practices.

• Optimize existing applications and improve maintainability.

• Participate in architecture decisions for distributed systems.

• Integrate software components and support configuration management.

• Promote and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards.

• Contribute to framework and tooling improvements.

Run side

• Support application releases and deployment activities.

• Define and implement testing strategies.

• Ensure software quality through unit, integration and acceptance testing.

• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge repositories.

• Contribute to application stability and performance improvements.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile teams throughout the software lifecycle.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and support production readiness activities.

• Share technical expertise and best practices across development communities.

This is your background

You have at least 5 years of experience in Java software development within demanding enterprise environments.

You enjoy solving complex technical challenges, building high-performance applications and working on distributed architectures. You are passionate about clean code, software craftsmanship and continuous improvement.

This is your expertise

• Strong expertise in Java Backend Development.

• Solid hands-on experience with Spring / Spring Boot.

• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.

• Knowledge of technologies such as Kafka, Apache Cassandra, Oracle Coherence, Tomcat or Spectrum Symphony.

• Unit Testing, Integration Testing and Acceptance Testing.

• CI/CD practices and automated testing.

• Understanding of distributed computing patterns.

• Familiarity with scalability and parallelization concepts.

• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
