We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer (React Native/Java) to join our team remotely!Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain customer-facing web and mobile applications using React and React Native.
- Build modern, responsive user interfaces that provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Develop and consume REST APIs to support application functionality.
- Contribute to backend services using Java and related technologies.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions and influence technical direction.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance across web and mobile platforms.
- Work in an Agile environment with a strong focus on engineering ownership and collaboration.
- Help deliver new digital banking capabilities as part of a large-scale modernization effort.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of Java development experience.
- 5+ years of React development experience and React Native experience building mobile applications.
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Experience building and supporting customer-facing applications.
- Strong understanding of modern web and mobile development patterns.
- Ability to work across both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
