Job Overview:

The Financial Analyst Rotational (FAR) Program – Data Analytics track is a two-year, full-time development program designed to provide early-career professionals with broad exposure to key areas of the business. Participants complete rotations across multiple teams, gaining experience in financial analysis, accounting, corporate strategy, and business operations while building the technical and professional skills needed to succeed in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities during the two-year, full-time rotational program:

  • Rotate through three different data analytics teams and build crucial skills in data analysis, querying, and visualization.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of LPL’s business and the wealth management industry.
  • Build strong technical skills, while also learning professional competencies, such as collaboration and relationship management.
  • Gain exposure to our Finance, Risk, Operations, and Compliance, leadership teams.
  • Meet regularly with your dedicated program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorship.
  • Cultivate new relationships in a fast growing network of professionals.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree and have an anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027
  • 3.3 GPA minimum. 
  • Offer is contingent upon completion of bachelor’s degree, successful background screening, and agreement to be local to the Fort Mill/Charlotte office.

Preferences:

  • All majors are considered, but programs focusing in data science, computer science, business analytics, mathematics, or information systems are preferred.
  • 3.5 GPA or higher.
  • Intermediate in at least 1 data analytic language (SQL, SAS, etc.) 
  • Intermediate in at least 1 data visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) 
  • Intermediate in at least 1 scripting language (SAS, Python, etc.) 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Effective communication, multi-tasking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Passionate, driven, open to new opportunities, and proactive.

Pay Range:

$29.36-$48.93/hour  

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
