Role Overview & Mindset
As a Junior Business Analyst, you are the strategic bridge between our clients' operational realities and cloud technology. Possessing a strong client-facing mindset, you love engaging with people, driving conversations, and guiding teams through business process improvements and system changes with empathy, clarity, and simplified communication.
We seek a self-starter who is naturally curious—someone who constantly strives to understand the "why" behind a business workflow to uncover optimization opportunities, rather than just executing on the "what." You are highly coachable, welcome constructive feedback as a tool for personal growth, and thrive as an active team player in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Workshops: Lead and facilitate discovery workshops to gather comprehensive client requirements and map current (As-Is) business processes.
- Process Improvement & Optimization: Analyze client operational workflows, identify systemic inefficiencies, and design optimized (To-Be) processes aligned with industry best practices.
- Software Configuration: Translate improved and validated workflows into functional system designs and configurations within the NetSuite platform.
- Testing & User Acceptance (UAT): Prepare and guide clients through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts to ensure the optimized operational logic flows perfectly.
- Go-Live Involvement: Play an active role during high-stakes deployment phases (Go-Live) to ensure a smooth operational transition.
- Client Training & Enablement: Conduct engaging training sessions for client Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and end-users, creating clear documentation to solidify the new workflows.
- Post-Go-Live Support: Provide proactive functional support and hypercare to clients during the operational stabilization phase immediately following deployment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- SaaS Experience (Core Requirement): 1 to 3 years of experience in business analysis or software implementations within the SaaS ecosystem (ERP, CRM, HRIS, or related solutions).
- Client-Facing & Process Mindset (Core Requirement): Proven client-facing background with a natural ability to analyze, document, and improve business processes.
- Bilingualism (Core Requirement): Flawless verbal and written communication skills in both French and English (essential for handling our bilingual North American client base).
- Education: University degree in Business Administration (Operations Management, MIS), Information Technology, or a related field.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Foundational knowledge of corporate accounting: General understanding of standard financial workflows (General Ledger / GL, Accounts Payable / AP, Accounts Receivable / AR).
- Direct exposure to NetSuite or other mainstream cloud systems (Salesforce, Odoo, Sage, Dynamics).
- Experience drafting process workflows using mapping tools (Lucidchart, Visio).
Logistics
- Permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week).
- Hybrid Model: 3 days/week in-office at our Montreal office (near Sauvé metro station).
* This position requires proficiency in a language other than French due to the fact that 75% of our clients operate in English
