Senior Product Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Designer based in Canada.

Accountabilities: As a Senior Product Designer, you will take ownership of end-to-end product design initiatives, balancing user needs, business objectives, and technical considerations. You will play a key role in shaping product experiences while promoting design quality and collaboration across teams.

• Lead the full design process for key product initiatives, from discovery and research through interaction design, prototyping, and final execution.

• Translate complex user and business challenges into clear, intuitive, and effective product experiences.

• Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver impactful solutions.

• Champion design quality, consistency, and usability by contributing to and leveraging established design systems.

• Present design concepts, explain decision-making processes, and incorporate feedback to continuously improve solutions.

• Participate in design critiques and support the growth and development of other designers through knowledge sharing and mentorship.

Requirements:

You are an experienced product designer with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating thoughtful user experiences. You are comfortable working across the full product lifecycle and collaborating with diverse teams.

• 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating ownership of products and features from concept to completion.

• Strong product sense with the ability to understand user needs, business goals, and translate them into practical design solutions.

• Excellent visual and interaction design skills with strong attention to detail and craft.

• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in product-led environments.

• Ability to clearly communicate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma.

• Experience working with established design systems and scalable product experiences.

• Familiarity with using AI tools as part of the design process is considered a plus.
