As a NodeJs Developer, you will help build secure, scalable applications and services, working across architecture, implementation, performance, and reliability to support enterprise-grade technology solutions.

Responsibilities• Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs supporting digital channels and core business systems.

• Build secure, high-performance server-side applications using Node.js and reusable application components.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, middleware, and integrations with internal systems and third-party services.
• Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions while writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code aligned with best practices.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures while ensuring data consistency, integrity, and security.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize systems for scalability, high availability, and resource efficiency.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms and apply security best practices, including JWT, OAuth, and SSO.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and data protection requirements while collaborating with information security teams.
• Develop and execute unit tests, participate in code reviews, and support quality assurance activities.

Required Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• 3-6 years of backend development experience with Node.js and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience building microservices, middleware, and integrations with internal and third-party systems, with strong REST API design and development expertise.
• Hands-on experience with JWT-based authentication, OAuth 2.0, SSO, and secure API development, including HTTPS/TLS, input validation, secure handling of sensitive data, and authentication and authorization best practices.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, complex SQL queries, stored procedures, indexing, and query and performance optimization.
• Experience with Express or NestJS, Docker, and working in Linux-based environments.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing, code reviews, CI/CD practices, application monitoring, and production troubleshooting, including root cause analysis and performance optimization.
• Experience working with information security and data-protection requirements.
• Eligible to work in Egypt.

Preferred Qualifications• Experience with TypeScript.

• Experience with message-driven or asynchronous architectures.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
