Full description

Asset management is unglamorous until an audit, and then it is the only thing anyone wants to talk about.

You will run IT asset management engineering on the BMC Helix platform at the alliance headquarters in Brussels, as part of a dedicated capacity team.

What you will be doing

  • Engineering the IT asset management capability on BMC Helix, hardware and software
  • Managing the asset lifecycle in the platform, from receipt through to disposal
  • Reconciling asset records against discovery and against the CMDB
  • Supporting software licence position and compliance reporting
  • Improving the processes and the data behind them, not only the tooling

What you will need

  • Real ITAM experience on BMC Helix or a comparable enterprise platform
  • Asset lifecycle and software licence management in practice
  • Comfort working between finance, procurement and engineering, because assets touch all three
  • The professional certifications the requirement asks for, BMC Helix and ITIL among them

Worth knowing before you apply

  • Fully on-site at the alliance headquarters in Brussels
  • You would be joining a small dedicated engineering team, not working alone
  • The engagement runs in two phases: a dedicated capacity phase first, then a managed service phase

Practical detail

  • Contract engagement, initial phase of six to twelve months
  • An active security clearance is required for this role
