The Radar Sensor Systems (RSS) organization within Raytheon’s Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) team is seeking a Reliability & Data Engineer to support the sustainment, performance analysis, and long‑term reliability of advanced radar systems. In this role, you will contribute to the lifecycle readiness of mission‑critical radar technologies by analyzing system performance data, identifying reliability trends, supporting failure investigations, and developing data‑driven insights that strengthen product dependability. You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to ensure radar systems meet operational requirements throughout their lifecycle. This is a full‑time, on‑site position located in Plano, Texas.
What You Will Do
- Support the program in the Failure Reporting And Corrective Action (FRACAS) process
- Help define failure modes and their effects on systems
- Collaborate with hardware/software design teams to identify and resolve non-conformances
- Perform data analysis on large, complex data sets, generating actionable reports and recommendations
- Analyze system logs to determine cause for system downtime
- Utilize experience with various databases for data input, report generation and data management
- Automate processes to enhance efficiency and scalability in handling large datasets
- Collaborate with engineering teams to communicate findings and address technical challenges
- Facilitate effective analysis of data and detection of failure patterns
- Interface with stakeholders on issues observed in the fleet for system stability or performance improvements
- Present information to internal stakeholders and external customers
- Work in a SCIF environment
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to manage and analyze large datasets using Excel, including complex filtering, data matching, and trend analysis.
- Programming languages and tools such as Python, SQL development (Microsoft SQL, My SQL, SQL Lite), and Tableau
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with radar, electronic warfare, or similar electronic systems
- Microsoft Office tools with emphasis on Excel for data analysis, using Pivot Tables, lookup functions, nested formulas, and spreadsheet automation.
- MATLAB, JIRA, Linux
- Familiarity with data visualization & Extract Transform Load (ETL)
- Testing and debugging

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
