About the Role

You will join a data-focused engineering team that keeps critical production services running while building the next generation of cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The role combines operational responsibility with modern development, giving you the chance to work close to both existing business-critical services and new platforms that improve how data is processed, exposed and used.

You will work with technologies such as Python, PostgreSQL, GCP, GraphQL, Terraform, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL and BigQuery. Job Description

  • You will maintain and improve existing production services built in Python and PostgreSQL.
  • You will develop and operate data pipelines, APIs and cloud-native services on GCP.
  • You will help modernize existing services by building scalable alternatives with a more current architecture.
  • You will work with infrastructure as code to support reliable and repeatable deployments.
  • You will handle incidents, troubleshoot issues in production and contribute to stable operations.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and turn them into robust technical solutions.
  • You will contribute to modern software delivery practices, including CI/CD and continuous improvements in the development workflow.

Requirements

  • 5 years or more experience in software development, particularly with Python and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience from running services on GCP.
  • Experience from incident handling and stakeholder management.
  • Proven ability in designing and maintaining data pipelines, data processing, and database technologies.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
  • Experience with API development and integrations using GraphQL and/or REST.
  • Experience with CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants in a good way.
  • You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
