Position Summary:
The Product Manager, Experimentation and Optimization reports to the Manager, Digital Experimentation and Optimization and is responsible for leading product discovery, delivery, and execution of digital tests across an assigned portfolio. The assigned portfolio may include Inspiration and Booking, Post-Booking, Loyalty, or other digital customer journeys, and may change as business needs evolve. This Product Manager helps lead a small scrum team to bring experimentation and optimization opportunities to life. The role partners closely with Commercial teams, including e-commerce Marketing, as they develop business hypotheses, offers, campaigns, and test concepts in parallel.
The Product Manager translates those opportunities into clear requirements, prioritized backlog items, measurable experiments, and scalable digital capabilities. The Product Manager is accountable for driving measurable commercial impact within their assigned portfolio, including improvements to conversion, ancillary revenue, upsell, loyalty engagement, personalization, customer experience, and broader digital commerce outcomes. This role requires a hybrid product and experimentation mindset: commercially aware, technically curious, data-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across Product, Design, Analytics, Engineering, Technology, and Commercial partners.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve as the product lead for an assigned digital experimentation and optimization portfolio, which may include Inspiration and Booking, Post-Booking, Loyalty, or other digital customer journeys as business needs evolve.
- Help lead a small scrum team through product discovery, definition, development, and delivery of digital tests, experiments, and optimization capabilities.
- Partner with Commercial teams, including e-commerce Marketing, as they develop business hypotheses, offers, campaigns, and test concepts in parallel; translate those opportunities into actionable product requirements and backlog items.
- Develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog and roadmap for assigned experimentation and optimization work, ensuring alignment to JetForward priorities, the broader experimentation roadmap, and shared commercial outcomes.
- Elicit, document, and manage clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, test hypotheses, success metrics, dependencies, and delivery expectations for experimentation initiatives.
- Own assigned tests from intake through readout, ensuring each experiment is clearly scoped, technically feasible, measurable, customer-centered, and tied to revenue, conversion, loyalty, personalization, or customer experience outcomes.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Data, Analytics, Product, Design, Technology, and Commercial partners to evaluate tradeoffs between customer experience, business value, technical feasibility, performance, data quality, and operational complexity.
- Participate in acceptance testing, quality control, launch readiness, and post-launch validation to ensure digital experiments and optimization capabilities meet the business vision and JetBlue standards.
- Track, analyze, and communicate experiment performance, product metrics, KPI/OKRs, learnings, risks, and recommended next actions for assigned portfolio work.
- Partner with other Product Managers and Technology teams to ensure consistency in experimentation standards, roadmap alignment, platform usage, customer experience, and delivery practices across Digital.
- Research, prototype, and recommend new digital capabilities, technology enhancements, and optimization opportunities that improve JetBlue’s customer experience and commercial performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Product Management, or related discipline; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience.
- Three (3) years of experience managing product delivery and supporting digital products, platforms, capabilities, or customer-facing experiences for business customers.
- Three (3) years of experience working with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Engineering, Product, Design, Analytics, Commercial, Marketing, or business partners.
- Experience supporting product discovery and delivery, including defining problems, prioritizing a roadmap or backlog, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and partnering with design and engineering teams to deliver customer value.
- Experience using data, customer insights, product metrics, experimentation results, or business feedback to inform product decisions and improve digital experiences.
- Experience supporting or delivering digital tests, A/B tests, personalization, optimization initiatives, digital commerce enhancements, or customer journey improvements.
- Available for occasional overnight travel.
- In possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States.
- Able to work flexible hours and be available for an emergency response on short notice.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Business or related discipline with three (3) years of professional work experience in IT product management, IT project management or similar discipline.
- Four (4) years of professional work experience in product management, digital product management, experimentation, optimization, digital commerce, or similar discipline.
- Experience managing cross-functional, medium-large-scale projects with internal teams and external business partners.
- Experience working with cross-digital platforms.
- Experience with experimentation, personalization, optimization, or customer data platforms such as Dynamic Yield, Optimizely or similar tools.
- Demonstrated curiosity and fluency in emerging digital, AI, and automation tools, including practical use of generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar technologies to support research, product discovery, requirements development, workflow optimization, analysis, and decision-making.
- Demonstrates a strong knowledge of technology trends; digital trends, industry background.
- Basic understanding of digital Booking and project and product delivery.
- Knowledge of budget creation and management.
- Knowledge of the airline industry.
Crewmember Expectations:
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice.
- Able to maintain a professional appearance.
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $90,500.00 and $128,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
