In this role, you will manage the delivery of Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM) and modular construction packages from design development and fabrication through logistics, site installation, commissioning, and turnover. You will coordinate manufacturers, engineering teams, field construction, procurement, logistics, and project stakeholders to ensure modular systems are delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Own the overall OSM and modular project delivery strategy from design development through fabrication, delivery, installation, and turnover.
- Manage OSM manufacturers and fabricators, ensuring performance against schedule, quality, cost, safety, and contractual requirements.
- Develop and manage procurement, fabrication, delivery, and installation schedules in alignment with the overall project schedule.
- Coordinate between design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, field operations, commissioning teams, and project stakeholders.
- Manage technical interfaces between factory-built assemblies and site-installed structural, electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural systems.
- Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), factory inspections, quality control, testing, and shipment readiness, ensuring deficiencies are addressed prior to delivery.
- Manage logistics and site installation planning, including shipping, receiving, storage, lifting, sequencing, and coordination with field construction activities.
- Identify and manage schedule, cost, quality, technical, and supply-chain risks and develop mitigation or recovery plans as required.
- Manage commercial scope, change orders, procurement commitments, and subcontractor/vendor performance associated with OSM packages.
- Drive successful site integration, commissioning readiness, punch list completion, turnover, and closeout in accordance with project and Owner requirements.
- Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills Required:
- Strong project management experience supporting Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM), modular construction, prefabrication, or large-scale construction projects.
- Experience managing manufacturers, fabricators, subcontractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong understanding of modular design, fabrication, procurement, logistics, installation, and site integration.
- Experience coordinating structural, electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural interfaces.
- Knowledge of FAT, factory inspections, QA/QC, commissioning readiness, and project turnover.
- Experience managing schedules, procurement, commercial scope, change orders, and supply-chain risks.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Education / Licenses / Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Project management, construction, or related technical certifications preferred.
- Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
