Job Description: Senior Product Manager, Risk & Compliance
Role Overview
Flexera is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead our Risk & Compliance solution area within IT Visibility.
As organisations face increasing regulatory scrutiny, growing cyber risk, and accelerating technology change, they need trusted visibility into their technology estate to understand exposure, improve governance, and demonstrate compliance. This role will define and deliver capabilities that help customers transform technology intelligence into actionable risk management and compliance outcomes.
The role spans Compliance Intelligence, technology lifecycle governance, operational resilience, audit readiness, and emerging AI-powered compliance workflows. It requires a blend of strategic thinking, customer empathy, technical acumen, and strong execution in partnership with engineering, design, customer success, sales, and product leadership.
Responsibilities
Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for risk and compliance capabilities within IT Visibility.
Own the evolution of Compliance Intelligence and related solutions that help customers identify risk, improve governance, demonstrate compliance, and maintain continuous audit readiness.
Define capabilities that leverage technology inventory, lifecycle intelligence, vulnerability insights, and business context to deliver meaningful customer outcomes.
Drive investment decisions across technology risk management, lifecycle governance, compliance reporting, operational resilience, and audit readiness.
Partner directly with customers, industry experts, and internal stakeholders to understand emerging regulatory requirements, governance challenges, and market opportunities.
Lead product discovery efforts to validate customer problems, identify market opportunities, and prioritise investments that deliver measurable business value.
Collaborate with Engineering, UX, Architecture, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales to bring innovative solutions to market.
Develop business cases, product requirements, user stories, and prioritisation frameworks that align customer needs with company strategy.
Drive adoption, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes through data-driven product management and continuous customer engagement.
Establish and monitor key success metrics to evaluate product performance and inform future roadmap decisions.
Champion AI-powered innovation across risk and compliance workflows, including recommendations, insights, automation, and decision support.
Represent the product area in customer engagements, executive reviews, analyst discussions, conferences, and strategic initiatives.
Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitive offerings, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies that influence product strategy.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of Product Management experience within enterprise software or SaaS environments.
- Demonstrated success defining product strategy and delivering impactful customer outcomes.
- Strong customer discovery, problem-solving, and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience partnering with engineering and design teams to deliver complex products.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience working within Agile product development environments.
Preferred
- Experience in one or more of the following domains:
- Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
- Cybersecurity or vulnerability management
- Operational Resilience
- Technology Lifecycle Management
- Experience building data-driven, intelligence-led, or workflow-based enterprise products.
- Experience defining AI-enabled solutions and bringing innovative capabilities to market.
- Familiarity with regulatory, governance, or audit-related customer challenges.
