Requirements

Candidates must have at least 2 years of related data management experience in the environmental or analytical chemistry sector. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a certificate in database management is required, along with proficiency in EQuIS, MS Access, or SQL Server.

We have an immediate opportunity for an Environmental Data Analyst to join our dynamic Environmental Remediation team. The successful candidate will work independently as well as within the Information Services team to manage database systems, develop data management procedures, assist colleagues in performing data-related tasks, and networking with internal/external clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

As part of our Data Management Team, you will:

  • Liaise and coordinate with internal and external clients to provide data management solutions
  • Work on a wide variety of environmental projects at a time, on sites located locally, across North America, and internationally
  • Manage and organize laboratory, field, spatial and geological data to ensure quality and consistency
  • Maintain and query data using EQuIS, MS Access and MS SQL Server
  • Produce data reports using in-house software and/or specialized queries
  • Assist in developing standards and procedures for data management process improvements
  • Actively communicate and coordinate with project managers, laboratories, and/or other team members to acquire data packages of varying formats to be imported to a centralized database system

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
