Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable quality standards.
- Manage all QA/QC activities for marine and bridge construction projects.
- Review and approve quality documentation, inspection reports, material submittals, and method statements.
- Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, third-party inspectors, and authorities.
- Monitor quality of construction activities including piling works, marine structures, quay walls, jetties, pontoons, breakwaters, bridges, structural steel, and concrete works.
- Lead internal and external quality audits.
- Investigate non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain quality records, testing reports, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company quality procedures.
- Prepare quality performance reports and present findings to project management.
- Support project handover by ensuring completion of all quality documentation and close-out requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of construction industry experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a Quality Manager or QA/QC Manager role.
- Proven experience in Marine and Bridge Construction projects.
- Experience in projects involving jetties, pontoons, quay walls, breakwaters, piling, and bridges.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
- GCC/UAE project experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international construction and quality standards.
