We are seeking a data-driven, collaborative and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst, responsible for providing financial analysis, support and control to various business functions.

The Senior Financial Analyst manages standard financial activities, revenue and operational expenditure budgets, drives cash flow and process improvements.

You will Bring

  • University Degree, with a focus in Accounting
  • CPA designation or nearing completion of CPA
  • 3+ years of experience in a Finance department or public accounting firm
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills including regular use of functions, pivot tables, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing financial reporting and processes for a portfolio of development projects, including cash flow, project profitability, account analysis, and cost to complete related projects
  • Treasury functions, including bank draws and cash calls
  • Assist in the development of other finance staff to achieve business objectives
  • Management of critical business reports
  • Assist with preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
  • Building relationships with other departments within the business to support the integrity of the financial information required for reporting purposes
  • Attend various meetings involving other departments to review project status and reporting
  • Ensuring data integrity and integrating new functionality
  • Managing inter-company transactions and balances
  • Preparing and managing of year-end working paper files
  • Review budgets at different stages of development and provide reconciliation of revenues and costs
  • Ensuring compliance with, and making recommendations for, improvements in finance policies and procedures, including assessing accounting systems and identifying areas for improvement
  • Overseeing and consistently assessing & enhancing system of internal controls
  • Preparing and analyzing other ad hoc financial reporting, as required
  • Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by Management
