Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.

The Division

The Sports Business Division is central to the Club’s overall aspiration to become a globally recognised sports and entertainment brand, with world-class horse racing at its core. The Division’s overarching focus is to deliver sustainable growth of the Club’s sports business, deepen customer engagement, and contribute to position the Club as a leading global sports and entertainment brand to enable its commitment to social betterment. Its strategy is delivered through three pillars: broadening the fan base and prospecting new customers, growing the sports wagering business, and building the Club’s brand and commercialising its assets.

Job Summary

The job holder is responsible for creating designing work for the Club, including ideating content, producing information and videos on the Club's various platforms.

The Job

• Responsible for developing and executing communication materials related to HKJC across the full range of internal and external channels

• Follow the assigned projects from concept, layout through production

• Work with cross divisional business units for generating original and outstanding design to the brief and on the brand

• Provide operational support to manage digital assets

• Conduct video streaming of various programs relating to the Club's business

• Research industry trends, emerging technologies, competitors, and best practices to enhance multimedia content.

• Ensure and maintain high standards of visual and functional accuracy for the published content.

• Support in operation manual development

• Undertakes other duties as assigned by Line Manager

About You

• Degree/Diploma in graphic design/advertising or related disciplines

• At least 7 years’ experience in branding/graphic design/advertising industry, with strong creative, design sense and organizational skills

• Digital and printing knowledge with detail-minded communication and problem solving skills

• Multi-tasking. Be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as team-player in corporate environment

• Strong knowledge in both Mac and PC. Be proficient in using MAC Adobe CC software (Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc)

• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese
