This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Systems Analyst, Senior based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to support complex technology solutions that improve healthcare operations and service delivery. The position focuses on analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise systems while ensuring reliability and operational excellence. You will collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and customers to translate requirements into effective solutions. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, and the ability to manage projects with minimal supervision. You will contribute to software development initiatives, system enhancements, testing activities, and continuous process improvements. Working in a remote environment, you will play a key role in supporting mission-critical healthcare technology programs and improving user experiences.

Accountabilities: The Senior Systems Analyst will contribute to the design, implementation, support, and optimization of software applications and technology solutions. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, business understanding, and strong collaboration skills to ensure systems meet operational and customer needs.

  • Analyze complex system requirements, develop technical solutions, and create supporting documentation such as flowcharts, data flow diagrams, technical specifications, and design documents.
  • Design, implement, maintain, and enhance software applications while coordinating activities related to deployment, operations, and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with development, testing, application, and program teams to define solutions, review designs, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Participate in software testing activities, including developing test plans, validating changes, troubleshooting defects, and improving system reliability.
  • Monitor system performance, diagnose production issues, manage support tickets, and provide timely resolutions while maintaining service quality.
  • Apply software development lifecycle (SDLC), software testing lifecycle (STLC), and ITIL best practices to improve processes and operational efficiency.
  • Support customer meetings, technical discussions, presentations, and solution demonstrations while ensuring alignment between business needs and technical capabilities.
  • Maintain operational documentation, procedures, reports, and system records to support effective system management.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to junior analysts while promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and improvements that can enhance system capabilities and performance.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in systems analysis, software development, and enterprise technology environments, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with 8+ years of experience working with programming languages, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience supporting healthcare technology environments, including knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or related healthcare domains.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), software testing lifecycle (STLC), and application support processes.
  • Experience with ITIL processes, system operations, incident management, and service-level agreements (SLAs/OLAs).
  • Proven experience analyzing relational databases and working with database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
  • Knowledge of programming languages and technologies such as SQL, Java, C, C++, .NET, PHP, Python, Perl, or XML-based solutions.
  • Experience with object-oriented analysis and design, UML modeling, client-server architectures, and web development concepts.
  • Familiarity with version control, defect management, and project tracking tools such as JIRA, SVN, CVS, or similar platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend effective solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing project requirements, and work effectively both independently and within collaborative teams.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, SharePoint, Visio, and enterprise productivity applications is preferred.
