Product Designer

Key Position Results Required (Must Do):

-Designing and testing HVAC equipment and systems according to client specifications and industry standards using SolidWorks and other software tools. -Performing calculations, simulations, and analysis of HVAC systems to optimize performance, efficiency, cost, and manufacturability. -Preparing technical reports, drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and manufacturing documentation for HVAC projects. -Collaborating with manufacturing teams, other engineers, designers, contractors, and clients to ensure successful delivery of HVAC solutions. -Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or problems related to HVAC systems. -Providing service support to our existing clients by responding to their inquiries, requests, and feedback in a timely and professional manner. -Staying updated on the latest trends and developments in HVAC technology and engineering.

Description of Incumbent Experience Required (Must Know):

-Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes. -Proficient in SolidWorks software and other relevant design tools. -Knowledge of the mechanical engineering principles, codes, standards, manufacturing, and testing related to the HVAC industry, including electrical and controls would be considered an asset. -Previous experience with sheet metal manufacturing processes is considered an asset. -MRP or ERP experience is considered an asset.

Education (or Equivalent):

Graduated from a Mechanical Engineering degree or Technology program.
