About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced print manufacturing environment and enjoys bringing complex projects to life.

In this on-site role, you will serve as the central hub between customers, sales, and our internal manufacturing teams. From order review through production, mailing, and final billing, you’ll ensure every project is delivered accurately, on time, and above expectations.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the primary liaison between customers, sales, and production teams
  • Review orders against estimates to ensure accuracy and alignment
  • Create and maintain complete job files and production documentation
  • Coordinate materials, templates, samples, and proofs
  • Develop clear work instructions for pre-press, press, and post-press teams
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time press starts and delivery
  • Communicate job status, changes, and potential issues proactively
  • Manage change notices and ensure documentation accuracy for billing
  • Oversee post-production activities including shipping and mailing
  • Ensure completed job files are properly documented and submitted for invoicing

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years in the printing industry (customer service or project management)
  • Strong understanding of pre-press operations and various printing processes
  • Knowledge of inline and post-press lettershop finishing
  • Familiarity with USPS specifications is a plus
  • Pre-press or bindery experience is helpful
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and math proficiency
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • ERP system experience preferred
  • Visio experience a plus
  • College degree in Business or Graphic Arts Management preferred

Travel

This position is based in our Wheeling, IL facility. Minimal local travel may be required for meetings or training.
