Java Full Stack Developer

This role is for one of Weekday’s clients Salary range: Rs 300000 - Rs 2200000 (ie INR 3 - 22 LPA)

We are looking for a skilled Java Full Stack Developer with strong experience in building scalable, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, modern frontend frameworks, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across the full technology stack, designing microservices, developing APIs, integrating cloud services, and contributing to automated testing and continuous delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Build and integrate robust RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using Angular or React.js.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services, including ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS, SageMaker, and Athena.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and testable code following software engineering best practices.
• Apply TDD/BDD methodologies and contribute to automated testing frameworks.
• Write unit, integration, API, and end-to-end tests to ensure application reliability.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across frontend, backend, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Use version control and development tools such as Git/GitLab, Postman, Mockito, WireMock, REST Assured, Cypress, and ReadyAPI.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development, testing, deployment, and engineering processes.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience developing microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong frontend development experience with Angular or React.js.
• Practical experience with AWS cloud services, particularly ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, and SQS/SNS.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and/or DynamoDB.
• Good understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native application development.
• Strong understanding of software development and testing best practices.
• Experience with TDD/BDD and test automation.
• Proficiency with Git/GitLab and API testing tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
