Job Description
Purpose of the role
To support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by the identification of business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.
Accountabilities
- Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
- Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
- Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
- Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
- Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
- Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.

- Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.

To be successful in this role, you should have below skills:
- 10+ years’ experience in an Investment banking environment, with strong skills in analyzing business processes, supporting data structures and recommending improvements
- 7+ years’ experience working as part of an agile development team
- Basic to Intermediate knowledge of the Investment Banking business, products sold, lifecycle of a deals, origination and execution model
- Knowledge of Agile framework, software development processes and SDLC
- Familiarity with workflow modeling and process flow modeling techniques using tools such as Visio, Powerpoint
- Advanced communication skills, stakeholder management skills and ability to manage time on multiple priorities effectively
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint to be able to run pivots and macros to better analyze data trends, turn granular asks into high level themes for stakeholder presentations and high-level vision boards.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
- Must be confident in leading discussions and requirements discovery workshops with various stakeholders within the business and It organization and should have strong presentation skills
- Familiarity with requirements definition and management lifecycle and being adept with tools such as JIRA to manage requirements backlogs / sprint boards
- Basic familiarity with requirements prioritization techniques via appropriate tools and models and being able to effectively trace functional requirements to overlying business asks. E.g. MoSCoW, RICE
Some other highly valued skills may include below:
- Knowledge of SQL skills to support data analysis and mining, trends.
- Master’s degree in a technical field
- Great analytical skills and ability to use them in multiple user and IT environments globally
- Understanding of cucumber for acceptance criteria management
- Knowledge of Salesforce (nice to have)
- Proactive team player with well-developed interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to deal with high stress situations calmly
