We are looking for a Data Engineer to develop and improve our data warehouse, ETL/ELT pipelines, and streaming data integrations. The main focus is reliable ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, analytical data marts, data quality, and performance using Python, SQL, Airflow, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reliable batch ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Apache Airflow.
- Design and evolve data warehouse models, including fact tables, dimensions, snapshots, and historical layers.
- Integrate data from trading platforms, relational databases, APIs, logs, and other operational systems.
- Build analytical data marts and datasets for reporting, finance, compliance, anti-fraud, and business analytics.
- Implement data quality checks, reconciliation mechanisms, monitoring, alerting, and data lineage practices.
- Optimize SQL queries, storage structures, and pipeline performance for large volumes of data.
- Develop backfill, reprocessing, and recovery mechanisms for historical data.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and improve the reliability, maintainability, and observability of data pipelines.
- Load streaming data into the data warehouse and integrate it with batch data for analytics and reporting.

Key Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Production experience with Python for data processing and automation.
- Good understanding of data warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, and historical data storage.
- Hands-on experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines and workflow orchestration.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or similar analytical and relational databases.
- Understanding of reliable data pipelines: retries, idempotency, data quality checks, monitoring, and backfills.
- Ability to analyze performance bottlenecks and troubleshoot production data issues.
Nice to Have
- Experience with financial, brokerage, or trading data.
- Experience with near-real-time or streaming systems such as Kafka, Flink, Redis, or ClickHouse.
