An experienced Project Manager is required to support a large-scale Digital Shared Services initiative within a provincial healthcare environment.
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, and delivering complex IT infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives. The role requires deep expertise in managing Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN, telecom, network infrastructure, Citrix, and Cognos-based Decision Support Systems.
This position demands a highly skilled professional capable of operating in complex enterprise and healthcare environments, coordinating multiple stakeholders, vendors, technical teams, and business units while ensuring successful delivery within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
Requirements
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale IT infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, implementation, and closure.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Manage enterprise Wi-Fi/WLAN deployments, including large environments with 500+ access points.
- Lead WAN and LAN design, planning, and implementation across complex organizational environments.
- Oversee network infrastructure deployments supporting hospitals and acute-care facilities.
- Manage enterprise telecommunications initiatives, including VoIP solutions.
- Lead Citrix deployment and implementation projects.
- Oversee Cognos-based Decision Support System (DSS) implementations.
- Develop business cases and project plans supporting IT service transformation initiatives.
- Manage projects involving telecom, workstations, network connectivity, and related IT services.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including technical staff, business stakeholders, vendors, and clinical users.
- Monitor and control project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
- Identify, assess, and escalate risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure deliverables align with organizational and service delivery objectives.
- Support organizational change management activities related to technology transformation.
- Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate implementation and transition of solutions into operational environments.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, governance records, and reporting artifacts.
