Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
  • Experience with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage and integrate AI capabilities into core operational workflows to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives tailored for executive leadership and business-facing stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving cross-functional alignment and influencing outcomes through data-driven insights and rigorous analysis.
  • Established track record of fostering high-impact collaboration across various, matrixed stakeholder groups.

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions, and your work will be foundational to this process. You will join the team supporting Android, a massive platform through which billions experience Google, touching nearly every Google service, product, and partner team globally. This role demands an agile thinker with strong data, analytic, collaboration, and communication skills to thrive in a complex, high-paced setting. Focusing on creative problem-solving and clear, accurate messaging to senior leaders, you will go beyond data management to act as a subject matter expert (SME) who shapes strategies, drives critical ad hoc analyses, and delivers key insights to Android and Finance leadership.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $116000 - $166000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Support new design, execution, and performance monitoring as Samsung Partner Finance Analyst, engaging with Search, Gemini, and G1, and other Google products teams that emerge through the partnership.
  • Create close commentary for Samsung and generate new forecasts for Platforms and Devices Partnerships Profit and Loss (P&L) components, leveraging Google AI tools to optimize.
  • Provide leaders with clear, executive-ready snapshots into Platforms and Devices performance as the Partnerships Reporting Lead, leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Google tools to shape output based on stakeholder’s needs.
  • Build easy-to-understand financial models and dynamic dashboards using AI and Google tools, commanding large data sets across cross-functional stakeholders to track key metrics, visualize trends, and provide actionable business insights.
  • Conduct and consolidate measurement analysis, supporting broader team efforts to track partner performance against committed metrics.
