About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts, design robust testing strategies, mentor junior QA team members, drive automation initiatives, and ensure high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end quality assurance strategy and execution
for assigned applications.
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and
compliance needs to define test scope.
- Design, review, and execute manual and automated test
cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and release
testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for critical
workflows.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects through
closure.
- Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Security
teams to ensure quality and compliance.
- Validate workflows involving PHI (Protected Health
Information) handling.
- Ensure test coverage includes security, access control,
data integrity, and auditability.
- Provide QA sign-off for releases and participate in
release readiness reviews.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and review their test
artifacts.
- Continuously improve QA processes, automation
coverage, and documentation
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong experience in manual testing for SaaS or web
applications.
- Hands-on experience with test automation (UI and/or
API).
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience using test management and defects
tracking tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation
skills.
- Experience with at least one automation framework or
tool such as: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.
Preferred / Good-to-Have
- Prior experience of working in US healthcare and
insurance domain.
- Experience testing systems in
HIPAA-regulated environments.
- Familiarity with HITRUST-aligned controls is strongly
preferred.
- Good understanding of Database and APIs.

Role-based access control (RBAC)
