ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join Flight Centre Travel Group as a Global Corporate Finance Senior Analyst and play a key role in shaping the future growth of the business through mergers and acquisitions, strategic analysis, and transformation initiatives. You will work closely with senior finance leaders across our global business, providing valuable financial insights that influence strategic decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects while supporting liquidity planning, financial performance, and long-term growth objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support post-acquisition monitoring and performance evaluation activities
  • Contribute to Group transformation projects aligned to organisational objectives
  • Support FCTG's M&A strategy by identifying and assessing potential acquisition targets
  • Conduct strategic market research and comparable company benchmarking analysis
  • Prepare financial analysis, forecasts, reports, and insights to support business decisions
  • Collaborate with treasury, financial reporting, tax, legal, and broader finance teams globally
  • Coordinate deal teams throughout acquisition processes, including financial due diligence activities
  • Partner with regional and global finance leaders to support financial planning and strategic initiatives
  • Identify financial trends and provide recommendations to enhance business performance and growth
  • Develop and maintain transparent views of current and future liquidity positions across FCTG and individual business units
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • CA or CPA qualification preferred
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong strategic research and benchmarking experience
  • Advanced business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting capability
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capability
  • Strong collaboration, leadership, and change management skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a corporate finance, M&A, financial analysis, or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree or tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions activities, including due diligence and post-acquisition monitoring
