We’re looking for a hands-on Intermediate Java Developer to join a dynamic professional services environment, working on enterprise-scale software development, integration and support.

You’ll work across a powerful enterprise technology stack, including:

Java / J2EE • Spring • Apache Camel • REST APIs • Oracle • MSSQL • MySQL • PostgreSQL • RabbitMQ • ActiveMQ • Docker • Kubernetes • Linux • Bash • Git

What You’ll Be Doing:

· Design, develop and maintain robust software solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring and Apache Camel.

· Develop and integrate REST APIs and enterprise systems.

· Work with Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.

· Write complex, efficient and optimised SQL queries.

· Build and support integrations using RabbitMQ and ActiveMQ.

· Deploy and configure applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

· Use Git for version control and collaborative development.

· Work with Linux and Bash for scripting and technical tasks.

· Test, troubleshoot and debug applications and integrations.

· Participate in integration testing, FAT, UAT and system testing.

· Use Postman or similar tools to test APIs and application functionality.

· Support applications post-implementation, including troubleshooting and bug fixing.

· Participate in code reviews, technical documentation and quality initiatives.

· Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams within an Agile/Scrum environment.

· Apply sound SDLC principles throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

· 5+ years of Java development experience

· Strong hands-on Java/J2EE experience

· Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and Apache Camel

· Solid SQL and relational database experience

· Experience with Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL and/or PostgreSQL

· Experience with RabbitMQ and/or ActiveMQ

· Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

· Strong REST API and systems integration experience

· Experience with Git, Linux and Bash

· Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools

· Strong troubleshooting, debugging and testing capabilities

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
