Summary:
The Installments Product Manager executes card product management to drive new account acquisition, and optimize product performance to drive account activation, usage, growth, and retention.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops Installments product knowledge to assist with longer range strategic projects and work assignments
- Develops knowledge of the Installments industry including consumer preferences and profitability trends
- Performs market and competitive research. Partners with internal/external partners to obtain consumer feedback to incorporate into new and innovative card ideas
- Creates business requirements that are comprehensive and clear, working independently or in partnership with key technical and business partners.
- Understands Card business processes and systems. Learns new processes and systems and applies to product management or project delivery.
- Demonstrates ability to understand criticality and relevance of project issues, appropriate level and degree of escalation, and drive resolution with project sponsors and technical management.
- Analyzes customer complaints with key partners, determines root causes and product enhancements or other risk mitigation strategies
- Drives remediation of issues and other control enhancements to support product delivery.
- Monitor day-to-day KPIs and identify trends and patterns and elevate issues to management as appropriate.
- Partners to ensure key branch and operational communications are executed as well as product training materials, guides and internal product sites
- Implement effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured, monitored and controlled and compliance requirements are adhered to on an on-going basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/equivalent with 4 additional years of credit card related oversight experience
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in financial services or banking
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- Strong attention to detail, focus on process
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with financial products
- Demonstrated ability to critically analyze situations and risks, determine paths of action, and make recommendations to remediate issues
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements for financial institutions and products
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation Range:
$63,000 - $124,000 Annual Salary The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
