In this role, you will be a pivotal technical partner for AI Factory sales strategies and architectures, connecting the Siemens portfolio with data center providers while helping drive a growing business. As the AI Factory Solutions Architect (f/m/d) for EMEA, you will bridge global AI Factory strategies, reference architectures, technical capabilities, and partner solutions with customer-ready applications tailored to the regional market.
Based in Germany, you will collaborate closely with the global AI Factory Architecture team and domain experts across electrical systems, liquid cooling, controls and automation, compute infrastructure, digital twins, and AI-enabled workflows. You will bring these capabilities to hyperscalers, colocation providers, enterprises, engineering firms, and ecosystem partners across EMEA.
This cross-functional, customer-facing role transforms customer needs into deployable solutions by connecting Siemens technologies, regional standards, and partner capabilities within the AI Factory framework.

You’ll make an impact by:
- Act as the regional technical extension of the global AI Factory Architecture team, bringing reference architectures and domain expertise into EMEA customer engagements while feeding regional requirements and lessons learned back into the global architecture roadmap.
- Connect global AI Factory strategies with local needs and adapt reference architectures to EMEA standards and customer requirements, working closely with the Chief AI Factory Architect and EMEA regional leadership.
- Collaborate with sales teams and engage directly with hyperscalers, colocation providers, enterprises, ecosystem partners, and engineering firms to develop tailored, deployable solutions and trusted technical relationships.
- Lead customer workshops to uncover requirements and co-create solutions across power, cooling, compute, controls, digital infrastructure, reliability, sustainability, and safety.
- Support next-generation architectures including high-density AI compute, advanced liquid cooling, microgrids and energy storage, renewable integration, and emerging DC power systems.
- Enable sales teams through technical training, reference architecture guidance, playbooks, and practical tools that simplify complex AI Factory solutions.
- Build strong connections between EMEA teams and global domain experts, promoting consistent architecture practices and continuous improvement.
- Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline architecture workflows, documentation, analysis, and sales enablement while maintaining appropriate engineering validation and governance.
You excel in:
- Education: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Center Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience & Skills:
- Longterm, demonstrated experience supporting hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, sovereign AI, or regional data center projects, including work with hyperscalers, cloud providers, AI infrastructure customers, engineering firms, or technology partners.
- Comprehensive knowledge of data center electrical architectures, including medium-voltage and low-voltage distribution, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and power monitoring, paired with a clear understanding of EMEA electrical standards (IEC/EN), regional grid requirements, voltage/frequency practices, and grounding, earthing, and protection requirements.
- Applied knowledge of Siemens or comparable electrical, automation, building, controls, and digital infrastructure technologies, including BMS, EPMS, SCADA, and data center monitoring systems.
- Strong understanding of next-generation data center technologies, including high-density AI compute architectures (GPUs, accelerators, and high-density racks), advanced cooling solutions (air cooling, direct-to-chip liquid cooling, CDUs, and heat exchangers), and energy systems such as microgrids, renewable integration, battery storage, and DC power.
- Familiarity with digital engineering approaches including BIM, digital twins, model-based workflows, telemetry, and digital thread technologies.
- Proven ability to co-develop and localize reference architectures, technical standards, or repeatable solution frameworks for regional and customer-specific requirements.
- Ability to use AI and automation tools, such as large language models (LLMs), scripting, App Scripts, and workflow automation, to streamline AI Factory architecture workflows and improve solution efficiency.
- Ways of working:
- Excellent customer-facing skills, including the ability to deliver technical presentations, facilitate workshops, and communicate effectively with technical, commercial, and executive audiences.
- Ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines without needing to be the deepest specialist in every domain, while knowing when to engage global domain experts.Comfort working in global teams and building relationships across regional sales organizations, business units, engineering teams, and external technology partners.
- Willingness to travel across EMEA and occasionally to the United States for customer engagements, workshops, training, and team collaboration, up to approximately 30%.
- Languages: German language capability is beneficial; strong professional English communication is required. Additional European languages are advantageous.
