Full description

AWS is seeking a Startups Business Operations Sr. Analyst to support operational excellence across the Startups Sales organization. This position will be responsible for implementing and maintaining scalable operational mechanisms that connect business strategy to execution through data-driven decision making, GenAI-powered intelligence, and rigorous inspection systems. You will support and run essential rhythms of business—from Top Deals Reviews to Monthly Business Reviews—and maintain forecasting and pipeline management systems that enable business predictability and growth. As a key contributor supporting the Startups Sales leadership, the role focuses on executing operational processes for the Startups field team and leveraging data, AI agents, and analysis to deliver measurable business outcomes. You will adopt and implement agentic AI and intelligent automation, building AI-powered solutions that help the Startups operations team operate at the frontier of operational excellence.

The successful candidate will bring expertise in operational execution and process improvement, combined with fluency in AI-powered automation and GenAI tools. The right candidate has a record of delivering results in a timely and effective manner, with experience supporting complex, cross-functional programs in large organizations, preferably in technology. The candidate will be a self-starter with a bias toward independent problem solving, a passion for identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, and attention to detail in execution. The successful candidate must be able to roll up their sleeves and work directly with models and large data sets, demonstrating passion for the work and excellent problem-solving abilities. You will be a builder at heart who sees a manual process and instinctively designs an automated solution, who experiments with agentic AI and automation tools because they understand the compounding leverage these create. Strong communication skills to support data-driven decision making and the ability to work effectively across functions are essential. Collaboration with stakeholders across AWS Sales, Solutions Architecture, Business Development, Finance, and other Operations teams will be crucial to effective execution. You will drive toward simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, demonstrate strong project management skills, and communicate analytical results clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
