Senior Project Manager
The Senior Project Manager owns two core A&I functions: operational cutover and migration program management. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Course Content and Development, the role coordinates cross-functional day-one readiness and ensures operational stability within 90 days after closing. This individual also manages stakeholder-defined MVP work within the migration project program - new features, functions, products, and processes - required to maintain business continuity after full migration to the 360training platform. Success is measured by seamless operational transitions, timely completion of MVP business migration projects, and accelerated acquisition value realization.
Job Responsibilities:
Operational Cutover:
- Leads the operational cutover following closing, coordinating with business leaders and sellers to prioritize and facilitate platform access, website changes, operational handoffs, internal training, vendor and expense transfers, and other critical business continuity activities during the first 90 days after closing.
- Creates and manages operational cutover projects, workflows, dashboards, and reporting in Jira.
- Provides weekly operational cutover updates, including progress and blockers, to internal and external (seller-side) stakeholders.
- Maintains a living cutover checklist that can be adapted to the needs of each acquired business.
Migration Execution:
- Meets with A&I project managers and business stakeholders to identify the MVP requirements for features, functions, products, and processes needed to maintain acquired business continuity after it has been migrated to the 360training platform.
- After executives approve MVP items, ensures each relevant business stakeholder provides business requirements and shares those requirements with IT and PMO for alignment and confirmation.
- After alignment, creates and manages the acquisition program in Jira Cloud.
- Collaborates with PMO to establish the migration roadmap and schedule.
- Facilitates weekly A&I meetings with business stakeholders to provide program updates, identify and address blockers, and escalate issues requiring leadership support or decisions
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Builds and maintains a reusable, iterative Operational Cutover checklist with business stakeholders, working with them throughout the 90-day cutover period to ensure completion.
- Partners with business stakeholders to define MVP requirements for migrations and supports the collection and delivery of business requirements documentation to IT and PMO.
- Presents MVP requirements to executive leadership for approval.
- Partners with PMO to establish the program roadmap from closing through testing and migration.
Stakeholder Management:
- Communicates MVP readiness, development progress, risks, scope changes, and outcomes to key stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Recommends post-migration improvements, optimization opportunities, and backlog priorities.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in project management, business operations, systems implementation, or cross-functional leadership.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication: clear, concise, and persuasive.
- Strong experience with Jira Cloud or comparable project management platforms.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects across multiple stakeholders and remote teams.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear processes and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability across teams.
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, project management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification
