In this role, you will coordinate supplier readiness and industrialization activities for Make & Buy and high-volume components. You will drive APQP deployment, supplier qualification, production readiness and ramp-up execution, while coordinating engineering, quality, supply chain and operations teams across the organization.
We are looking for a hands-on technical leader who combines engineering expertise, quality management and industrialization know-how with the ability to influence organizations, drive change and deliver results through collaboration.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as APQP facilitator and drive deployment of supplier quality and industrialization processes across high-volume and Make & Buy initiatives.
- Ensure supplier readiness, qualification and production readiness for ramp-up of high-volume components.
- Ensure appropriate quality assurance concepts, control plans, process capability targets and monitoring concepts are established before SOP.
- Ensure effective application of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
- Define and establish supplier quality requirements for high-volume and Make & Buy components.
- Ensure that roles, processes and governance are in place to sustain quality and performance throughout serial production.
- Lead industrialization risk management, readiness reviews and escalation of critical issues.
- Support supplier audits, process assessments and qualification activities together with the responsible line organizations.
- Coordinate Engineering, SCM, Quality and Operations to ensure successful industrialization, ramp-up and transfer into serial production.
Your background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in turbocharging, automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment or similar manufacturing industries.
- Proven experience in supplier industrialization, production readiness, APQP deployment and successful ramp-up management.
- Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, 8D and Root Cause Analysis.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt certification and experience with process capability and SPC tools is an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects involving Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and external suppliers.
- Proven experience moderating technical discussions, leading task forces and driving complex problem-solving activities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align organizations without direct authority.
- Hands-on, results-oriented leader with strong analytical skills and willingness to travel internationally for supplier assessments, industrialization activities and ramp-up support.
