About this Role
We are seeking a Network Planning Engineer to coordinate and support planning, optimisation, reporting, and process digitalisation initiatives within the Networks function, with a focus on Network Strategy & Engineering. This role combines project coordination, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, process improvement, and automation to help drive operational excellence and informed decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with technical and business teams, translating requirements into actionable plans while ensuring effective delivery of projects, reporting, and governance activities.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate multidisciplinary projects and initiatives across the Networks function, ensuring effective planning, progress tracking, and stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to understand business requirements and align outcomes with local and regional strategies.
- Support project prioritisation and prepare approval documentation including business cases, commercial justifications, and financial analyses.
- Analyse technical, operational, and financial data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
- Monitor project delivery end-to-end, proactively identifying dependencies and proposing efficiency-focused solutions.
- Support or lead automation, standardisation, and process simplification initiatives that enhance quality and reduce operational effort.
- Produce operational, financial, budget, headcount, capacity, and governance reports for stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Develop dashboards, presentations, project documentation, status updates, and stakeholder materials to support decision-making and transparency.
- Contribute to automation initiatives such as budgeting, approval workflows, reporting tools, and process redesign activities
Who you are
- Experience in network planning or a related field, with a minimum of three years in a similar role.
- Strong project planning and coordination capabilities with the ability to manage dependencies, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
- Skilled in business and data analysis, with the ability to transform complex information into practical recommendations.
- Effective stakeholder management and collaboration skills across technical and business environments.
- Experience in process optimisation, workflow standardisation, and automation initiatives.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare professional reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Understanding of network topologies, telecom technologies, and industry trends.
- Knowledge of OPEX, CAPEX, budgeting, and variance analysis principles.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
- Agile and/or PRINCE2 certification.
- English language proficiency at a minimum B1 level.
