Job Posting Details
The Undergraduate Affairs Administration Team of the School of Engineering oversees the full spectrum of undergraduate education functions within the School. These include student outreach, admissions, administration of academic programs, quality assurance, student affairs, and the coordination of co‑curricular programs such as exchange programs and experiential learning initiatives.
The School is now inviting applications for the position of Assistant Manager, Undergraduate Affairs Administration. The appointee will assist in various functions of the School’s Undergraduate Affairs Administration Team, in particular academic program administration including student affairs and awards/scholarships, quality assurance and accreditation, learning experience programs. The appointee will also be expected to render support other administrative areas of the School as assigned when needs arise.
Applicants should have a recognized degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, sound knowledge in computer applications, excellent interpersonal and quantitative skills, and proficiency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua). The ideal candidate should be a good team player; highly motivated with a strong sense of responsibility; good at multi-tasking; and be able to work independently and under pressure. Working outside normal office hours will be required occasionally. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
