Who are we looking for?
The Alternatives Business Solutions Poland team is seeking highly motivated and results-oriented professional with strong IT and automation expertise to support portfolio of automation initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, understand business needs, and translate them into scalable solutions.
A talented and self-driven individual able to leverage strong IT experience to manage a growing automation demand. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with global business stakeholders to design, develop, and implement high-quality automation solutions that align with business requirements while adhering to development best practices, organizational standards, and industry guidelines.
Your new team
Teams build tactical solutions (e.g., Python, VBA) and deliver global initiatives that enhance client experience, increase operational efficiency, and meet regulatory requirements.
Your new role
The role requires effective management of a development pipeline, including effort estimation, and delivery planning. The individual will also be responsible for performing thorough testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability, scalability, and effectiveness of implemented solutions.

As a Project Manager - Alternative Investments Data Solutions, Officer you will:
- Design, develop, and implement scalable automation solutions and applications based on business and technical requirements.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and technology-driven improvements across multiple business functions.
- Create new tools that aim to save time, risk and improve quality Perform Project Analysis of requirements received for each development effort.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Engage the existing development resources to ensure best practices are being applied and/or promote new best practices.
- Manage/maintain oversight of the promotion and demonstration of strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
- Continually review and redefine development processes e.g. learn new methods.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and support materials in line with organizational standards.
- Provide regular status reporting to the project/program leads and management.
- Monitor project progress, communicate development status, and proactively manage technical risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Ensure timely delivery of technology solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and maintainability.
- Conduct ad hoc reports, administration, projects and tasks as required.
What we value
Qualifications and previous experience:
- A University Degree in banking/finance, technology/IT or related field.
- Further qualifications in IT related field would be an asset.
- 3-plus year experience with proven process automation using Python.
- 5-plus years of work experience.
- Being familiar with object oriented programming.
- Any other programming language knowledge would be a plus.
- Familiarity of Agile development methods would be an advantage.

Work organization requirement:
- Hybrid work model with 3 days of office work per week required
Minimum Salary:
zł132,000 Annual
The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
