Type of contract: Employment contract
Salary range: 14600 - 22 300 PLN gross/month
What will you do?
Join a team building a strategic cloud-based risk data platform that delivers large-scale market data processing and analytics capabilities. You will work on modern data processing pipelines, microservices, and integration solutions, helping to design scalable and high-performance systems that handle both real-time and batch workloads. The role combines software engineering, data engineering, and cloud technologies in a collaborative and innovation-driven environment.
Your tasks
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions
- Design and develop data processing pipelines for large-scale data workloads
- Build and maintain Java and Spring Boot based microservices
- Design and implement REST APIs
- Integrate internal systems with a focus on performance and cost optimization
- Develop solution blueprints for market data ingestion patterns
- Review solutions created by other team members
- Assess and improve existing data pipelines and microservices
- Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders Implement industry-standard logging, monitoring, and error-handling practices
- Support automated recovery mechanisms and operational excellence
- Promote automated unit and regression testing practices
Your skills
- Strong knowledge of Java Experience with Spring Boot and its ecosystem
- Knowledge of software design principles including KISS, SOLID and DRY
- Experience designing and implementing data processing pipelines
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases
- Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Experience with Jenkins Basic knowledge of Groovy scripting
- Knowledge of integration frameworks and patterns
Nice to have
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, Bigtable)
- Experience with containerization, orchestration and Infrastructure as Code technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)
- Experience with monitoring, observability and messaging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Kafka)
- Knowledge of Apache Beam or Vaadin
