Insight Global is a multi-national staffing and managed services company in North America placing more than 50,000 consultants annually. Our IT Organization is working on cutting edge digital and technology transformation projects.
The Insight Global Product team is responsible for the delivery of Insight Global’s proprietary IT systems as well as 3rd party software integrations. The Business Solutions team is comprised of the Product, Software Development, and Quality Assurance organizations
We are seeking a Product Manager to own the delivery and evolution of product capabilities that support Insight Global’s talent systems. This role is responsible for translating business needs into clear product direction and ensuring high‑quality execution through strong cross‑functional partnership.
Responsibilities
Day In The Life:
- Lead regular conversations and working sessions with business stakeholders to understand goals, pain points, and process gaps impacting their ability to deliver results
- Partner closely with Engineering, Data, and UX to identify solution options, validate assumptions, and assess feasibility and impact
- Own the definition, refinement, and prioritization of work in the product backlog, ensuring epics, features, and user stories are clearly defined and ready for delivery
- Write and maintain detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that enable efficient development, testing, and release
- Deploy, manage, and maintain 3rd party Software as a Service that the talent organizations uses for multiple workflows and business processes.
- Facilitate backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning, and ongoing delivery discussions with the delivery team
- Actively support the team during sprints by answering questions, clarifying requirements, and helping remove blockers or resolve dependencies
- Coordinate with other Product Managers to align on cross‑team dependencies, sequencing, and shared capabilities
- Communicate sprint outcomes, delivery progress, risks, and tradeoffs to business and leadership stakeholders
- Partner with UX to gather user input, review designs, and validate workflows through research, testing, or feedback loops
- Define success metrics and monitor product performance using qualitative feedback and quantitative data
- Identify opportunities to improve existing functionality, streamline workflows, or consolidate overlapping solutions
- Support release planning, demos, and change communication to ensure alignment and adoption across the organization
Qualifications
Must Haves:
- 2–5 years of experience in a Product Manager role within an agile product delivery environment
- Experience working on business facing products, platforms, or integrations where shared data models are critical
- Proven ability to manage a product backlog and roadmap while balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Ability to reason about data quality, consistency, and edge cases and incorporate those considerations into product requirements
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions
- Experience partnering with Engineering and cross‑functional teams to deliver software products or platform capabilities
- Working knowledge of agile development methodologies and product discovery techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort operating in ambiguous problem spaces and bringing structure and clarity to open‑ended work
- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions and measure outcomes
Plusses:
- BS, MS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience working with Talent Acquisition organziations
- Background in business analysis, systems analysis, or data‑driven product work
- Exposure to design and technical conversations around APIs, integrations, and cross‑system data flows
- Familiarity with CRM systems, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or other Talent Acquisitions systems and tools
- Experience collaborating with UX on research, testing, and workflow design
- Experience with AI technologies to improve
- 2+ years of experience in staffing industry
