Why we're hiring:
We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help us take our data capabilities to the next level. You’ll play a central role in building and maintaining the systems that keep our global media ecosystem running ensuring that data is reliable, scalable, and ready to power intelligent decisions across the business.
This is a hands-on role for someone who’s comfortable designing and delivering modern data solutions while influencing how we use data across the company.
What you'll be doing:
- Design, build and manage end to end data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes that move data seamlessly across our platforms.
- Develop and maintain data models, warehouses and lakes that serve analytics, reporting and machine learning needs.
- Collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists and product teams to turn complex problems into elegant engineering solutions.
- Build strong data governance and quality frameworks to make sure everything we produce is accurate, consistent and transparent.
- Drive improvements in automation, monitoring, performance and scalability.
- Contribute to long-term architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers across the team.
- Stay curious, explore new tools techniques and technologies that can help us move faster and smarter.
What you'll need:
- 5+ years’ experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Strong experience with SQL, Python, and cloud-based platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Solid understanding of data modelling, pipelines and orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, or similar).
- Familiarity with modern data ecosystems — e.g. Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift.
- Experience working with CI/CD, version control and testing best practices.
- A proactive approach to solving problems and improving systems.
- Excellent communication skills — you can translate technical concepts into language anyone can understand.
- A passion for data and how it can drive better decisions in media, marketing and beyond.
