Responsibilities

The Opportunity

The Commercial Planning Data Analyst, who has daily interactions with vertical and cross-functional teams such as R&D, Marketing, Finance and PMO to ensure Business Proposals meet expectations according to customer and PepsiCo commercial strategy.

The primary accountabilities relate to product master data decisions by understanding the critical details of the Business Proposal needs, ensuring quality of deliverables as the information flows directly to different systems across PepsiCo.

The Commercial Planning Data Analyst will have an assigned mix of higher complexity brands / customers / channels to support and will complete an estimated 100-150 Business Proposals per year. Master Data accuracy is essential, as it feeds over 200 downstream systems, impacting Demand Planning, Operations, Sales and Financial transactions.

Your Impact

As Commercial Planning Data Analyst your functions would consist of:

Ensure Flawless Execution of Business Proposals into Sales & Supply Chain Systems.

IDEA CONTEXT: Determine if the Business Proposal (BP) request is clear. Identify missing details required to define timelines or assess master data needs. Work proactively with Cross Functional teams to close gaps through identification and iterations of process improvements in continuous team learning.

MASTER DATA: Provide analytical expertise and decision making on product master data required to support each Business Proposal idea. This includes identifying when to create new UPCs (SKUs) and internal product codes, managing price areas, tying to correct packaging / case pack / code date attribute data and maintaining data integrity through clean-up.

PACKAGING SUPPORT: Own the Packaging Graphics Requisition process to capture all non-design attributes, including UPC management, brandmark routing, cross functional spec and regulatory input, and oversight of schedule hand-off to Packaging Pre-Press Vendor.

EFFICIENCY: Ensure completion of assigned tasks on schedule. Task Prioritization to ensure schedule in-store date is met. Attend task force with Cross Functional Partners to remove obstacles, raise concerns and follow ups. Identify and provide solutions on how to make processes more productive.

COLLABORATION: Assist with reviewing for BP needs across teams to support timely approval. Reach out for specific region/zone participation in innovation launch programs to identify unique product code/pricing needs.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Analytics or similar field required.

Experience

- Fluent English written and verbal skills required.

- 0-2 years of professional experience in Commercialization, Master Data with demonstrated experience in an analytical and/or project based role required

- Intermediate to Advance Excel skills for data extracts,analysis and reporting required
