As Product Develop Manager you will lead an engineering team responsible for product development activities across screens and centrifuge product line lifecycle. The role is responsible for delivering current development projects to successful market launch while shaping the next generation of product technologies. The position focuses on the development of scalable, standardised offerings that strengthen product line competitiveness and sustain market leadership in a dynamic and highly competitive environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver a portfolio of product development engineering projects from concept through to commercial launch.
  • Plan and execute structured development activities aligned to lifecycle and commercial priorities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
  • Maintain clear development pipelines with effective resource allocation across projects.
  • Contribute to product strategy and execute the engineering roadmap to support business growth.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing product development engineering team with clear accountability and delivery focus.
  • Drive strong cross-functional alignment with product, operations, sales, and service teams.
  • Ensure seamless transition from development into manufacturing and market release.
  • Advance product standardisation and portfolio optimisation to reduce complexity and improve efficiency.
  • Implement robust governance, including performance tracking, risk management, and leadership reporting.

What you bring

  • Mechanical Engineering qualification with 15+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to analyse and solve complex engineering problems through the application of advanced knowledge.
  • Extensive experience in the design and development of vibrating equipment, including structural dynamics and fatigue design using first principles and FEA methods.
  • Proficient in the use of ANSYS and SolidWorks.
  • Proven experience in product development leadership within an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of stage-gate product development processes and lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in driving product standardisation and portfolio optimisation.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of competitive market dynamics.
  • Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and deliver measurable outcomes.
