Title: Senior System Security Engineer

Grade: P3

Location: Belgrade, Serbia

Working hours: Monday to Friday; 9am – 5pm CET

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Advanced Patch Management: Overseeing and implementing advanced patch management strategies, ensuring our systems are up-to-date and resilient against existing and emerging vulnerabilities.
  • Comprehensive Vulnerability Management: Leading comprehensive vulnerability assessments of identified security risks in order to mitigate them in accordance with industry standards and best practices, as well as customer policies.
  • Expert Baseline and Hardening: Setting the gold standard for security baselines and hardening, for various environments (Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, network devices, etc.) and guiding the team to adhere to these standards.
  • Antivirus Management: Managing sophisticated antivirus solutions and driving continuous improvement in malware detection and elimination capabilities, ensuring our systems are impenetrable against the latest threats.
  • Provide training to internal teams on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Develop and implement security solutions for new and existing systems and applications.
  • Create and review internal processes and ensure they are in line with customer policies.
  • Work with other IT teams to solve information security system problems and issues.
  • Respect NCRV procedures, as well as the team’s internal procedures.
  • Perform other corresponding duties and tasks in accordance with qualifications.
  • Support daily and/or OOH activities on request in accordance with pre-defined plans.
  • Python Scripting - maintaining the deployment web platform

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in cyber security roles, demonstrating expertise in advanced Patch Management, Vulnerability Management, Baseline and Hardening, and Antivirus Management.
  • Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of security concepts such as threat analysis, vulnerability management/assessment, and incident response.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar are required.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and Linux systems administration at an expert level.
  • Excellent analytical ability, consultative and communication skills, and ability to work both independently and across a team.

Nice to Have:

Experience working with tools such as Intune, CloudIQ, AirWatch/Workspace One, and Defender, enhancing your ability to optimize and streamline security operations.
